60 runners take part in Gridiron 5K

The Gridiron 5K Challenge was a big success as some 60 runners (and walkers) participated in the event held Saturday, March 21.

The event raised $2,500 for the Taylor County High and Taylor County Middle School football programs.  Organizers said, “The weather was actually nice–overcast but very nice for a run. The run was a lot of fun and we plan on doing this same event next year.”
