Attempted murder charge dismissed

The State Attorney’s Office has dismissed attempted murder charges against Andre Snowden, 34, who was arrested in connection with a shooting that happened March 18 on South Warner Avenue.

In a filing with the Taylor County Clerk of Court, Assistant State Attorney James A. McCain stated: “After having examined all of the known evidence and/or having taken testimony under oath or reviewed testimony and statement of the known witnesses in said cause, it appears the evidence does not warrant prosecution.
