Elderly couple seriously injured

An elderly Perry couple was seriously injured after pulling into the path of an oncoming semi-truck Thursday morning at the intersection of U.S. Highway 27 and Foley Cut Off Road.

Dwain L. Sinclair, 83, and Nancy L. Sinclair, 82, were both transported to Doctors’ Memorial Hospital for treatment.

PHOTO: A couple in their 80’s pulled into the path of an oncoming semi-truck Thursday morning, resulting in a violent crash that propelled the truck through a corner wall of a nearby residence.
