New bridge opens April 10

Traffic is scheduled to shift to the newly constructed bridge on U.S. 27 over the Fenholloway River located about five miles east of Perry this Friday, weather permitting.

Motorists should expect lane closures when the final layer of asphalt is placed on the roadway approaches to the new bridge. The speed limit on U.S. 27 will remain 45 mph until construction is complete.
