Inaugural seafood festival to benefit Purple Heart recipients

American Legion Post 291 has teamed with the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation to host the first Steinhatchee Seafood Festival Friday, April 17, through Sunday, April 19, benefitting Purple Heart recipients.

The schedule includes food vendors, arts and crafts, river tours, an in-shore fishing tournament, Poker Run and live music headlined by The Kentucky Headhunters.

PHOTO: The Kentucky Headhunters, whose best known hits include “Dumas Walker” and “Walk Softly On This Heart of Mine,” will headline the first Steinhatchee Seafood Festival Saturday, April 18. Net proceeds from the three-day event benefit the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation.
