Some 35 athletes and 24 officers took part in the annual Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run Thursday morning.
Teaming with seven local agencies, the group ran from the Walmart parking lot to the Taylor County Courthouse. Dozens of individuals lined the streets to cheer as runners passed by. (Top) Officers from Taylor Correctional Institution led the way.
