8 counties come together to address homelessness

In an effort to find solutions to the problem of homelessness in the county, the Taylor County Commission has agreed to join the eight-county Big Bend Continuum of Care.

The commissioners voted unanimously last week to join the organization, which they hope will give the county access to regional resources as well as provide guidance and expertise for local organizations working to tackle the issue.
