City council stands firm against ‘sports bar’

After opening the door to possibly including a sports-bar type license in its alcohol-service ordinance, the Perry City Council slammed it shut with a unanimous vote Tuesday.

Council members did not take comments from Cypress Mill restaurant/sports bar owner Marlon “Dusty” Hilson and brushed past his attempts to speak during the council’s discussion.
