Trash to Treasure Yard Sale
The Perry Garden Club’s Trash to Treasure yard sale is planned for Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. Raffles will be held during the event which continues until 1 p.m. at the Perry Garden Club House, located behind Forest Capital Hall.
Sandy Toes Red Hats Yard/Bake Sale
Sandy Toes Red Hats will host their fifth annual “Big-Enormous-Gigantic” yard sale and bake sale Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Grand Pavilion in Rosehead Park (adjacent to the splash pad).
Rotary Club Poker Run
The Perry Rotary Club will host the Nature Coast “Cards for a Cause” Motorcycle Poker Run Saturday with registration from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Huddle House in Perry. The ride will end at Sea Hag Marina in Steinhatchee.
Friends of the Library Book Sale
The Friends of the Taylor County Public Library Spring Book Sale will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. until 12 noon at the library.
Most books will be 25¢ each (or five for $1). All magazines will be 5¢ each (or six for 25¢).
The library is located on North Washington Street.
Bulldog Battalion Car Wash
The Taylor County High School JROTC Bulldog Battalion will hold a car wash Saturday at Ace Hardware from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Children’s Fun Festival at City Park
On Saturday, the community is invited to participate in the annual Children’s Fun Festival planned at City Park from
10 a.m. to noon.
Some 20 agencies are expected to provide parent education and children’s activities.
Steinhatchee Seafood Festival
American Legion Post 291 has teamed with the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation to host the first Steinhatchee Seafood Festival today (Friday) through Sunday, April 19, benefitting Purple Heart recipients.
The schedule includes food vendors, arts and crafts, river tours, an in-shore fishing tournament, Poker Run and live music headlined by The Kentucky Headhunters.
The festival will be staged at Good Times Motel & Marina (7022 SW 358 Highway, Steinhatchee).
Net proceeds benefit the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation.
