Workshops planned to address possible changes to Suwannee, Santa Fe boating safety zones

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has scheduled workshops to address possible changes to the boating safety zones affecting vessel speed during flood conditions in the Santa Fe and lower Suwannee rivers.

The FWC is considering revisions within the portion of the Suwannee from County Road 340, going south to Flower’s Buff, and also the Santa Fe, beginning at River Rise and going downstream to the confluence of the
Suwannee.
