Teen beaten while crowd watched

A Taylor County High School student was lured out of an apartment and attacked by five to six young men Saturday night while an unknown number of eyewitnesses stood by and watched.

For the student’s parents, the actions—or lack thereof—of those who simply watched (and allegedly video-recorded the event) while their son was “kicked, choked and punched” was almost as shocking as the attack itself.
