Increased log truck traffic prompts look at C.R. 30

With more log trucks entering Foley Cellulose Mill, Taylor County’s commissioners are receiving demands that they address the resulting traffic safety concerns along County Road 30 (Foley Road). The Taylor County School Board is now joining the calls for action.

According to County Administrator Dustin Hinkel, the county plans to install additional signage alerting motorists of truck traffic and is considering flashing, warning signs to assist when visibility is low, such as during foggy mornings.
