Low cost vaccination clinic set for May 2

    Posted on April 29, 2015

PAWS of Steinhatchee, along with the Taylor County Veterinary Medical Association’s Dr. Miles Owens and Dr. Thomas Fletcher, are sponsoring their bi-annual low cost vaccination clinic on Saturday, May 2, from 9 until 11 a.m. at DTRAC in Jena

Pre-registration will be held on Friday, May 1, at Maddies Market from 4 until 6 p.m. Organizers note that aggressive dogs must be muzzled; all dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in carriers.

Nail trimming will be available for $5; micro-chip implants for $20. Free routine worming will be available with vaccinations, while flea control and heartworm prevention will be for sale. “Cash only, please,” organizers request.

“Come out and take care of your pets–and support PAWS,” they urge.
