    ‘Living link’ to pioneer past will be recognized during Saturday banquet

    Lydia Hendry Andrews, a living link to one of Taylor County’s foremost pioneer families, will be presented the Wilson T. Hendry-W.H. Peacock Taylor County History Award Saturday, May 16, during the annual Taylor County Historical Society Banquet.

    Tickets for the event are available at the offices of Perry Newspapers, Inc., in downtown Perry and will also be sold at the door. The cost is $10 each ($5 for Historical Society members).
