Heart of Hospice

Longtime volunteer Archie Austin was presented the “Heart of Hospice” award during Big Bend Hospice’s annual Taylor Made Sing Friday, June 5.

“The ‘Heart of Hospice’ award is given to volunteers and community partners for valued years of service and commitment to Big Bend Hospice patients and families. Archie has served with Big Bend Hospice as a patient family volunteer for 19 years, and he recently added Big Bend Hospice ‘Valor volunteer’ to his repertoire, working with veterans and their families,” Hospice Community Liaison Michele Brantley said.
