Cough leads to semi-truck crash

An ill-timed cough apparently led to a semi-truck crash Saturday afternoon on U.S. Highway 19.

Driver James Lee Thompson, 57, of Auburndale, told Florida Highway Patrol Trooper W.B. Young that a violent cough caused him to jerk the steering wheel of his 2014 International semi.
