Johnson, 90, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2018 in Taylor County. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Graveside services were held Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 3 p.m. at Pisgah Cemetery with Brother Ron Blair officiating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Shellie was born in Taylor County June 27, 1928, where she lived all her life. She was the first female bus driver for the Taylor County School District, where she worked for 31 years. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she served the church working in the nursery and Vacation Bible School.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Shellie is survived by: four sons, Ray Johnson, C. J. Johnson, Buddy Johnson and Dolan Johnson; one daughter, Pam Couey; two brothers, Ronnie Hill and William Hill; three sisters, Coretha Smith, Liddy Page and Betty Trossel; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a> <span style=\"font-size: small;\">She was predeceased by: her husband, Bernard Johnson; four brothers, Franklin Hill, Cecil Hill, Eldon Hill and Irvin Hill and one sister, Vegie Thames. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Beggs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shellie H.
