Grace was born Dec. 17, 1922, in Palmetto to Gordon L. Barfield and Anna Morton Barfield.<\/p>\n<p>Grace worked for Procter &amp; Gamble for 31 years. While she was there, she was sent to Memphis, Tenn., for training in setting up the Library for Procter &amp; Gamble Forestry Department. She was also part of a three-member council that helped establish and name Citizens Bank of Perry. She felt it was for the citizens of Perry, which is where she came up with the name.<\/p>\n<p>Grace was preceded in death by: her parents, Gordon L. and Anna Morton Barfield; her husband, William M. Colson Sr.; and her second husband, Grover Graham.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by: three children, William M. Colson Jr. (Wanda), Gordon T. Colson (Vickie), and John Charles Colson (Linda); nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a>Funeral services will be held Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, at 3 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Pastor Jeff Stading officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, at Burns Funeral Home.
