Flott, 83, died Dec. 15, 2018, in Tallahassee.Louise was born May 16, 1935, in Perry to Harrison Connell and Flora Morgan Connell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Louise was born to be a caretaker. She loved working with the patients at the nursing home, and later in life she was a caretaker for her husband, second husband and her son. She is remembered as a very loving mother,grandmother and great-grandmother. She was even regarded as a mother to her younger siblings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Louise was preceded in death by: her parents, Harrison and Flora Connell; her husband, Earl Shiver; her second husband, Gus Flott; her son,Walter Harrison \u201cPeewee\u201d Shiver; two brothers, Lonnie and Chester Connell; and three sisters, L.E. O\u2019steen, Ellmarie Mosley and Florene Courson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is survived by: her children, Edward Shiver (Nora), Cecelia Strevel (Tony) and Jerry Shiver; a host of grand and great-grandchildren;her brothers, Leroy and Dairl Connell; and sisters, Edna Tillis and Liller Newberry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Westside Baptist Church with Bro. Tim McDonald and Bro. Billy Gipson officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Carlton Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. \u00a018, at Westside Baptist Church.
