Cash"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Fred\nJ. Cash, born April 22, 1934, in Sheridan, Ark., went home to be with Jesus\nFeb. 7, 2019, after an extended illness. He was 84 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nyoungest of 18, he was preceded in death by 15 brothers and sisters and a\nstepson, Frank Thompson. The two of 18 siblings now surviving are Earnestine\nSanders (JB) of Fayetteville, Ark., and Trudy Carlton (Slick) of Perry, Fla.&nbsp;\nHe is also survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley A. Brandt Cash and\nhis children Sandra Thayer (Dale) of Freeport, IL, Darrell Cash of Boise, ID,\nTerry Whorton (Glenn) of Perry, FL, Treva Wilson (Larry) of Marysville, CA, Ty\nCash (Debbie) of Meridian, ID, Tod Cash(Renee) of Lathrop, CA; 24\ngrandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cash\nfaithfully attended Faith Baptist Church for many years until his illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A\nmechanic by trade, he made sure his family drove safe dependable vehicles by\nspending many hours under the hood.&nbsp; He retired from Southern\nPacific\/Union Pacific Railroad where he worked as a machinist, a job he dearly\nloved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cash\nloved his wife and family and always wanted the very best for them. He prayed\nfor his family continually and was most concerned with their spiritual health.\nHe prayed always that they would be Christian and join him one day in Heaven. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cash\nalways saw the best in every person and made each person feel as though they\nwere first on his mind.&nbsp; He loved spending time with his family; talking,\ntelling stories and jokes, laughing and playing games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being\nborn on a farm and working there his entire childhood, Cash loved to grow\nvegetables, plants, flowers and his gardens were the envy of all who\nsaw\/enjoyed them.&nbsp;Fishing was also a love of his, and he enjoyed sharing\nthat with anyone who would join him, especially his family.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He\nwill be remembered at Faith Baptist Church on Highway 19 N. in Perry, Fla., on\nSaturday Feb. 16th at 5:00 p.m. Please come and help us celebrate his glorious\ngoing home.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In\nlieu of flowers, Cash asked that you donate to the Jubilee Fund at Faith\nBaptist Church in Perry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fred J.
