\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHazel M. Parker, 85, passed\naway April 16, 2019 in Perry. Hazel was born April 14, 1934 in Perry to Alvin\nWhitfield and Evelyn Connell Whitfield.
\nHazel was of the Baptist faith and was a member of San Pedro Baptist Church.\nShe was a faithful wife and a loving mother to her family. Hazel enjoyed the\noutdoors, a little fishing, tending to her roses, and her yard. She like to sew\nand embroider and was a wonderful cook.
\nHazel was preceded in death by: her husband, James Clarence Parker; her parents,\nAlvin and Evelyn Whitfield; and a brother, Grady Whitfield.
\nHazel is survived by: her children, Debbie Crumpler, Dorothy Parker (Kenny\nDalton) and Ray Parker; her sister, Betty Connell; seven grandchildren, eight\ngreat-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
\nFuneral Services will be held Thursday, April 18, at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn\nCemetery with Bro. Bobby Joe Hiers officiating. All arrangements are under the\ndirection of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
