Stan was born January 19, 1945, in Cook\nCounty, Ill., to Marvin Berg and Mary Altman Berg.<br>\n<br>\nStan honorably served our country in the United States Army and was a member of\nthe American Legion and the Moose Lodge in Ft. Lauderdale. Stan worked as a\ncarpenter with J&amp;S Drywall in Ft. Lauderdale; he also built cabinets with\nLarry Sapp out of Ft. Lauderdale. Mr. and Mrs. Berg moved to Perry in 2009, and\nhe continued woodworking, making beautiful things for family and friends.<br>\n<br>\nHe was preceded in death by the mother of his children Judy Streicher, his\nparents Marvin and Mary Berg, his daughters Mary Berg and Adina Berg, and\ngranddaughter Shawnie Easlick.<br>\n<br>\nStan is survived by his wife Mrs. Connie Ware-Berg; his daughters, Theresa\nCasella (Rich), and Patty Gunnoe (Barry); his step sons Walter White, Douglas\nWhite, and Mark Niece;&nbsp;his siblings, Billy Berg, Sarah Stroyek, Richard\nBerg, and Sandy Knight; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; as well\nas a host of nieces and nephews.<br>\n<br>\nA Celebration of Stan\u2019s life will be held at a later date.
