Thomas \u201cTommy\u201d Baker Johnson, 72, passed away Thursday, May\n15, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at\nTallahassee National Cemetery at 11 a.m. A viewing will be held Sunday, May 19,\n2019, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 3322 Apalachee Parkway,\nTallahassee, Fla. 32311, (850) 942-2929.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tommy was born November 6, 1946, in Perry to Tom and Hazel\nJohnson and has resided in Tallahassee for the past 28 years. He retired after\n26 years from the United States Navy, loved fishing and camping, traveling with\nfamily, was an amateur author, Ham Radio operator, loved History, Florida State\nFootball and genealogy and enjoyed spending time with his family and\ngrandchildren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tommy is survived by his wife, Lavater Johnson; son, Thomas\nBaker Johnson, Jr. (Jessica) of Tallahassee; daughter, Tonya Lynn Six (John) of\nTallahassee; brothers, Donnie Johnson (Wendy) of Perry, and Wayne Johnson\n(Becky) of Tallahassee; sisters, Marie Martel (Gordon) of Atlanta, Dora Miller\nof Perry, and Deloris Guidry (Brian) of Lafayette, La.; and grandchildren,\nBrittany, Chelsea, Audrie, Emily and Lily Johnson, and a multitude of extended\nfamily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
