Daveen Preston Lescoe,\n76, of Perry, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday June 1, 2019. Daveen\nwas born Dec. 21, 1942 in Wayne, Mich. to David and Virginia Knisley. She moved\nto Perry from Crawfordville in 1989 and worked as an assistant manager and\ncomputer systems installer for Kmart for more than 30 years. She was a member\nof the Perry First Church of God and in her spare time enjoyed fishing,\nwatching major league baseball, watching Florida State Seminole Football and\ncaring for her animals.
\nShe is survived by: two sons, David Screeton, of New Hampshire, and John\nLescoe, of Crawfordville; one brother, David, of Michigan; two granddaughters;\nher lifelong companion, Diane Whiddon, of Perry; and numerous nieces, nephews,\nother relatives, and friends.
\nA Celebration of Life will be held from 2-6 p.m. today (Wednesday) at her\nresidence, 129 E. Nancy St, Perry. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to\nHearts for Hometown Dogs, PO Box 653, Perry, FL 32348.
