M.\nGeorge was born June 17, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pa., to George and Helen\n(Jones) Garand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>George honorably served\nour country in the United States Air Force from 1953-1961 before moving to\nFlemington, N. J. where he worked as a butcher for nearly 40 years. He was\nmarried to his wife Deborah in 1996. George was formerly a member of\nCornerstone Community Church, enjoyed baseball, was an avid Philadelphia sports\nfan, and was a kind man and loving father, who would give the shirt off his\nback for anyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>George was preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife, Deborah (Martin) Garand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>George will be loved and\nmissed by his surviving three daughters: Vicki Ortiz of Albuquerque, NM, Donna\nBoyle and husband John Boyle of Batavia, Ill., and Stacy Garand of Jacksonville;\ntwo step-sons: John Kubicek of Seattle, WA and Keith Kubicek of Lambertville, N.\nJ.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At his request, there\nwill be no local services. George will be laid to rest in Flemington, N. J.,\nand reunited with his wife, Deborah.
