Alberta Woodfaulk Brant-Eagle was born August 28, 1928, to\nthe late Courtney Woodfaulk and Katie Woodfaulk Blalock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To her parent’s union, seven children were born: Earl,\nUlysses, Eunice, Alberta, Estella, Randolph and Freddie Lee. All of Alberta’s\nsiblings preceded her in death. At the age of eight, her biological father\ndied, at which time her mother married the late Deacon Charlie F. Blalock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deacon Blalock, a pioneer and faithful servant of Antioch\nMissionary Baptist Church, and Deaconess Katie were blessed by God with two\nsons, Ocie and Charles Blalock, Jr. Together, the Blalocks raised their nine\nchildren in a loving home and the fear and admonition of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On July 11, 2019, when her name was called from the Lamb’s\nBook of Life, Alberta peacefully transition from labor to reward at Doctors’\nMemorial Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Visitation was held Tuesday, July 16, from 5-7 p.m. at\nAntioch Missionary Baptist Church (located at 708 Lance Dr. in Perry). Funeral\nservices will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at the church. The Rev. Tony\nO’ Graham is pastor.
