Lee Bern Hunter, 52, passed away on July 16,\n2019, in Perry. Bern was born August 25, 1966, in Perry to R. V. Hunter\nand Louise Lewis Hunter.

\nBern was of the Baptist faith and attended St. Johns Christian\nFellowship Church. He worked as an Operator of heavy equipment for\nmany years.  He loved the outdoors.  Hunting, fishing, and frog-gigging\nwere some of his passions. His greatest passion was his daughter, Torie Lee. Bern\nloved to laugh, joke around and never met a stranger.  He was always\nwilling to help anyone, especially if it involved hunting and fishing to\nget out of work. Bern never liked to say goodbye, so in his words, \u201cLUVYALATER!!!\u201d

\nBern was preceded in death by his parents, R. V. Hunter\nand Louise Lewis Hunter, his grandparents, Cephus and Eva Mae Padgett Lewis,\nRobert Hunter and Edna Tomlinson, one brother, Bruce Denmark, a nephew, Michael\nDenmark and one brother-in-law, Wes Blue.

\nBern is survived by his daughter, Torie Lee Hunter; one\nsister, Robin Blue; one brother, Mike Hunter; and his wife, Sandy, as well as a\nhost of nieces and nephews.
\n
\nFuneral Services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019, at 10 a.m.\nat Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Rev. Billy Gipson officiating.\nInterment services will follow immediately afterwards in Woodlawn Cemetery. The\nfamily will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019,\nat Burns Funeral Home of Perry. All arrangements are under the direction of\nBurns Funeral Home of Perry.
