James Rudolph Williams, 80, entered joyfully into the\npresence of our Lord and Savior Saturday, July 27, 2019 while surrounded by his\nloving family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rudolph was born in Lake County April 17, 1939 to James\nAlbert Williams and Lowell Margaret Dees Williams. The family moved back to\nDixie County shortly thereafter, where Rudolph lived for the remainder of his\nlife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He married the love of his life, Bonnie Faye Weeks, on\nJanuary 16, 1959.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rudolph was a hard-working man who always put his family\nfirst. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed\nspending time with his family. He had a wonderful sense of humor and an\nextraordinary memory. He loved hearing a good joke. Throughout his life he\nworked as a forest ranger with the Florida Forest Service, an equipment\noperator with W.E. Malone Logging, and retired as a truck driver with the Dixie\nCounty Road Department. He was a member of the Suwannee River Baptist Church in\nOld Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rudolph was preceded in death by his parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is survived by: his wife, Bonnie Faye Williams of Old\nTown; two children, Edward Williams (Kari) of Old Town and Shannon\nWilliams-Paramore (David) of Perry; and one grandson, Trey Krejcar of\nCalifornia; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday Aug. 2, at\nSuwannee River Baptist Church with Bros. Bobby Lindsey and Ben Kimmell\nofficiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.\nIn lieu of flowers donations may be made to Haven Hospice in Gainesville.\nArrangements are under the care of Watson Funeral Home in Trenton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
