Patricia \u201cPat\u201d Anne Mathis, 77, went to be\nwith her Lord and Savior on Feb. 16, 2020 in Perry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pat was born May 9, 1942, in Foley to H.P.\nPadgett and LillieBelle Howell Padgett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mrs. Mathis was a member of Pisgah\nMissionary Baptist Church where she served in the kitchen for many years,\nmaking sure the kids had plenty to eat, even sending some home with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pat was a devoted wife to her husband for 59\nyears; she was a loving, dear mother to her children, a loving Granny Pat and\nPatPat, who enjoyed spoiling her grandbabies and great grandbabies, spending as\nmuch time as she could with them all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Patricia was preceded in death by her\nparents, H.P. and LillieBelle Padgett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mrs. Mathis is survived by: her husband,\nBilly Mathis; her children, Charlene Russell, Tim Mathis, and Michelle McNutt;\neight grandchildren, Jessica, Nicholas, Annabelle, William, Jewel, Lillie,\nWilla and Bella; seven great-grandchildren, Ryder, Marley, Penny, Gunner, Maddie, Elese and Emyah; and her\nsisters-in-love, Mary Frances Crow, Ruby Williams, Barbara Jean Mathis, Linda\nRussell and Kamala Snow; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Funeral services will be held on Thursday,\nFeb. 20, at 2 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother Tommy Lundy\nofficiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterward in Pisgah\nCemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from\n1-2 p.m., at the funeral home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
