Ashton was born November\n20, 2005, in Tallahassee to Kenneth Brian Burns and Ashlea Brooke Gilpin Burns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ashton was a student at Hillcrest\nPublic School in Ocala. He was a loving\nyoung man who was always happy and smiling &#8212; always! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ashton loved the water, riding side\nby sides, bouncing on his trampoline and swinging on his custom built swing\nset. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was preceded in death by his\npaternal grandfather, Jerry Valentine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is survived by:\nhis father, Brian Burns, and step-mother Lori, of Perry; his mother, Ashlea\nBurns, and step-dad, Jeff Chauncey, of Ocala; a step-brother, Jeffrey Sullivan;\nhis paternal grandmother, Charline Valentine, of Perry; his maternal\ngrandparents, Art and Maynette Gilpin, of Perry; his paternal\ngreat-grandmother, Mae Hathcock, maternal great-grandparents, A.B. and Bobbie\nMurphy, and Ed Gilpin, all of Perry; as well as numerous aunts, uncles,\ncousins, other relatives and friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funeral services for Ashton will be\nheld at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 28 at Crosspoint\nBaptist Fellowship with Bro. Eddie\nPridgeon officiating. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interment will follow in Pineview\nMemorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the\nservice starting at 10 a.m. also at Crosspoint Baptist Fellowship.
