William Elliott \u201cBilly\u201d Brown, 69, departed this life on Feb.\n26, 2020, in Perry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was born Aug. 6, 1950, in St. Marks to Joseph Aaron Brown\nand Wilma Padgett Brown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Billy honorably served his country in the United States Army.\nMr. Brown was a Christian and attended Charity Baptist Church. Billy was a\nlongtime commercial fisherman out of the Aucilla River, where lived and grew up\nas young man. He also was an iron worker for many years with Watkins\nEngineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Billy enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He loved to\nwatch his Florida State Seminoles. Billy was a family man, who loved his wife,\nchildren and grandchildren, and enjoyed spending all the time he could with\nthem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Billy was preceded in death by: his father, Joseph Aaron\nBrown; his brother, David Brown; a sister, Iris Ann Brown; and an infant\ndaughter, Shannon Brown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Brown is survived by: his wife of 37 years, Linda Brown;\na son, William Elliot \u201cBilly\u201d Brown Jr.; four daughters, Shannon Brown Lewis,\nLindsay (Robert) Calhoun, Talina (Lee) Dorman and Lynda (Bradley) Mauldin; his\nsisters, Melody Evans, Rhonda Diver, Tammy White, Julie Matsinger and Wanda\nCordoba; his brother, Danny Joe Brown; and his grandbabies, Logan, Rhiannon,\nSamantha, Billy, III, Jayce, Brilynn, Elina, Bristynn, Ashton, Hinton, Caseton,\nBraden and Lliam; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 1, at 3 p.m. at\nBurns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother \nCricket Watson officiating. Interment services followed immediately\nafterward in Pineview Memorial Cemetery. The family will received friends one\nhour prior to the funeral service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
