Elmer Oneil Brannon, 72, passed away on Sept. 28, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was born Feb. 19, 1951, in Madison to Edgar Calvin Brannon and Annie Kathleen Thomas Brannon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Elmer was a Baptist and a member of Midway Baptist Church of Perry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Calvin and Kathleen Brannon; his son, Scottie Brannon; and two brothers, Sonny and Buster Brannon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is survived by: his wife of 23 years, Linda Brannon; his daughters, Janis Brannon, Elizabeth Arnold (John) and Lori Weaver (Rick); five grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Shannon (Tom) and Marilyn Johnson; and one brother, Jerry Brannon (Camille) as well as a host of nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A graveside service was held on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery in Mayo with Brother Tom Studstill officiating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
