JROTC hosts chicken dinner fund-raiser

The Taylor County High School JROTC hosted a chicken dinner on Saturday, March 23.

Cadets arrived early to the sound of 1SG Eddie Smith cooking and the heavy rain that struck. By 12 noon, customers were in line for lunch and several cadets delivered to a variety of Taylor County businesses.

“The JROTC would also like to give a big thanks to the TCHS cafeteria,” Smith said. “Also we would like to thank the boosters in helping with additional side dishes and deliveries throughout the day. All the money will be dedicated to helping the cadets attend their many drill competitions and events throughout the year. Thank you to all those who came out and supported our cadets.”
