Of the 394 inmates on Florida’s Death Row, Douglas R. Meeks, 62, has the distinction of being the inmate who has been on Death Row the longest (continuously).
Meeks was 21 years old when he was convicted of two violent murders here. He marked his 62nd birthday in late June.
