    Tax Collector Mark Wiggins has proposed moving his three offices (including those on the first and second floor of the courthouse) into retail space — near the former
    Cato Fashion space — being renovated in the Taylor Square Shopping Center to
    improve customer service and save money through consolidating positions as employees retire.

    Taylor County Tax Collector Mark Wiggins is proposing to consolidate his three offices into a single location — a move he says will improve customer service and reduce costs at a time when county officials are facing the possibility of reduced revenues next year if voters pass Amendment 3 on the Nov. 3 ballot.
