With the Taylor County Commission still working to overcome an initial $500,000 deficit in its proposed 2015-16 budget, the board has scheduled a third workshop for Tuesday to hammer out the details before a special meeting later that evening at which commissioners are expected to approve their proposed millage rates for the new year.
The board first met Thursday, July 16, and again Tuesday, July 21, to discuss the budget. The third workshop will be held Tuesday, July 28, at 2 p.m. The special meeting is set for 5:30 p.m.
