Local VA clinic on track to open doors by September

County crews are continuing work on the home of Perry’s new U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) clinic, which is expected to be ready to open its doors by September.

County Administrator Dustin Hinkel said the building–located on Peacock Avenue near the Florida Department of Health in Taylor County– should be finished “within a month” and the clinic will be able to open on schedule in September.
