Special Olympics Florida will hold a Draft Party Saturday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Taylor County Sports Complex.
“We are planning a fun day to welcome new athletes and coaches into Special Olympics. We will also have an ambulance, a firetruck and a helicopter on display,” Taylor County Director Leslee Sunderland said.
Newly registered athletes will receive a free physical (required for participation in Special Olympics) and a free t-shirt. Complimentary concessions will also be served.
Athletes may sign-up for Special Olympics at the Draft Day event.
