No arrest in death of Madison man, 22

When Travis Lee Cruce found out he was going to be a father, he only asked— whether it was a boy or a girl—that the child share his middle name.

Remington Lee Cruce was born Nov. 27, 2014, and was his father’s pride.

“He loved being a daddy. He supported and cared for his family, and would help anybody,” Cruce’s fiancé Rachel Gibson said.

The 22-year-old Madison native was killed around midnight Friday, Aug. 7, while doing what he enjoyed most–“riding around in the woods,” Gibson said.
