Military Academy Days announced

Representative Gwen Graham invites North Florida students interested in attending one of the country’s military academies to Military Academy Days to learn more about the schools and application process.

The Military Academy Days will be held in Tallahassee on Saturday, Aug. 22, and in Panama City on Saturday, Aug. 29.

The five military academies are the United States Military Academy at West Point; the United States Coast Guard Academy at New London; the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis; the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point; and the United States Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs.

Students interested in learning more or requesting an academy nomination can also visit www.Graham. House.gov/academy.

The Tallahassee event will be held Aug. 22 at City Hall from 2-5 p.m. The Panama City event will be held at the Bay District Schools building, from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
