Working at night to avoid the blistering summer heat, muralist Nadia Bertrand and her partner, Sebastien DuBois, couldn’t help but track a bright star as it moved overhead.
“She kept seeing it night after night, and this inspired her to include the star in the mural. What she didn’t realize until she was done is that it wasn’t a star at all but rather it was Jupiter moving in alignment left to right…this the first time it has happened since the birth of Christ. Back then people called it the Star of Bethlehem,” City Finance Director Penny Staffney said.
