Bulldogs to take on Lafayette County in pre-season classic

After several  long weeks of practice and a summer full of workouts, the Taylor County High football team will get a chance to tangle with someone else this Friday night in Mayo when the Bulldogs take on Lafayette County in the annual pre-season classic.

Taylor County’s second-year coach Tanner Jones returns a large number of starters from last season’s 5-4 team while the Hornets are in somewhat of a rebuilding mode after losing 16 starters off their 7-3 squad.
