FEMA team eyes flooding damage

Personnel with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Florida Division of Emergency Management have toured flooded areas in and around Steinhatchee twice in the last week to assess the amount of damage to property and homes.

According to Taylor County Emergency Management Director Steve Spradley, he and Coordinator Kristy Anderson took the representatives on visits to each affected home last Thursday, Aug. 13.
