Once code enforcement avenues are exhausted and property owners fail to take action regarding overgrown weed/grass complaints, then city crews step in.
When city workers mow and/or clean up a property, the landowner is billed for the services. If the bill is not paid, the city then has the recourse to file a lien against the property.
