Council will talk salaries Aug. 8

Salary compensation for the city council will return to the agenda Tuesday, Aug. 8, after being tabled last month due to one member’s absence.

City Councilwoman Shirlie Hampton, who originally requested the issue be placed on the council’s agenda for its Aug. 25 meeting, asked for the item to be tabled until the next meeting. (Councilman David Sullivan was not present due to a previous engagement.)
