Pet adoption fair planned Sept. 19

Tractor Supply will host its annual Pet Adoption Fair Saturday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Organizers have partnered with the Taylor County Animal Shelter, Meow or Never Rescue and Unless You Rescue in the hope of finding forever homes for adoptable pets.

Supporting the cause will be Bubble Paws Grooming Services, providing pet grooming; Taylor County 4-H Sharpshooters, with a sno cone fund-raiser; AMVETs, serving hamburgers and hot dogs; and Meow or Never, selling baked goods.

The event will also feature face painting (for a donation), pony rides and a special pink cotton candy benefit for local breast cancer fighter Mary Lee Winnie.
