Reef keeps growing

The Foley Cellulose Mill continued its tradition of supporting the Taylor County Reef Research Team by donating more than $12,000 of surplus industrial material and $3,000 toward the cost of deployment.

The Taylor County Reef Research Team is working to expand existing artificial reef sites off the coast of Taylor County and raise funds for new artificial reef construction projects. Its goals include coordinating with other reef teams in Florida and an extensive reef monitoring program for Taylor County.
