    Family of slain teen still waiting for justice

    Quick with a smile, Lloyd Walker already had a reputation of being handy when it came to fixing things and being a bit of a horsetrader even though he was only 16.

    He could take apart a lawnmower and put it back together—then make a deal to trade the mower for a gun he wanted.

    PHOTO: Lloyd Walker was a student at Vo-Tech at the time of his death in 1974. His brother, Kenny Wayne Walker, said his killers “were not going to leave any witnesses.” Walker and Diane Allen were shot execution-style by Douglas R. Meeks.
