Twice convicted murderer Douglas Ray Meeks kept his head down as he was escorted into the courtroom Thursday morning, rarely making eye contact with anyone—including his attorneys and the judge presiding over the hearing.
He never looked into the audience and showed no emotion when the proceedings got underway.
