School district dips into savings to balance budget

With no one from the public in attendance, the Taylor County School Board unanimously approved its $39.4 million budget for the 2015-16 fiscal year.

The board held the second of two public hearings during its regular meeting Tuesday, Sept. 15. The only people in the audience for the meeting were three district administrators and the press.
